Top Rated Outpatient Drug Rehab Center For Residents of Arlington, Texas

Every person is different and has their own timeline for recovery. Once residential rehabilitation is over, at Resurgence, patients are encouraged to stay in our aftercare and outpatient programs for as long as they need, so they will feel supported and confident when returning to everyday life.

Outpatient care is ideal for people who need to remain near home to go to work or school or attend to their family and other important commitments. Our outpatient options are also beneficial for people who are just coming out of residential treatment and want to continue receiving care and support from our expert staff.

Resurgence is the top-rated outpatient drug rehab center for residents of Arlington. Once you are finished at our inpatient rehabilitation center, you will not be sent out alone to fend for yourself alone. There are multiple outpatient options that will fit anybody’s lifestyle, budget, and preferences, and they will provide you with the skills you need to remain sober and take back control of your life.

Outpatient care is best suited for those who feel emotionally stable, are highly motivated to remain sober, and are not experiencing physical withdrawal symptoms. It is best for those who live in a sober home or have a stable, sober-friendly living environment with supportive friends and family.

Drug Rehab That Allows You To Still Go To Work & School

There are many options available through the Resurgence outpatient programs that will allow you to go to work and school during rehab. The intensive outpatient program at Resurgence has a lot of flexibility, so you can maintain a normal daily routine while receiving group and individual therapy.

Some locations of Resurgence also have a virtual version of the intensive outpatient program, where meetings and therapy happen online, through a special telehealth platform. This is especially beneficial for people who cannot remain in residential treatment and live too far away from our treatment centers to physically attend therapy or groups.

Flexible outpatient programs have a lot of freedom, and so they are most beneficial for people with a stable home and a solid support network. Our referrals to sober living homes, and our alumni network can help provide the stability you need. Sober living homes all offer different levels of strictness and rules, but many allow their residents to come and go if they adhere to rules like drug tests, curfews, and chores around the house.

Benefits of Outpatient Drug Rehab

Outpatient drug rehab has many benefits. Being out in the world while still in aftercare will give you the ability to apply your newly learned coping mechanisms to real-life scenarios. You will have the freedom to continue working, going to school, and spending time with your family, but will continue receiving strong support through meetings and therapy, that are tailored to your individual needs.

In outpatient care, you will have access to a new, sober community, create new friendships, and attend new activities that will foster a sober lifestyle, while also having the opportunity to help others through their recovery. Most importantly, you will never have to feel alone in your recovery.

What To Expect During Outpatient Rehab

At Resurgence, we want outpatient rehab to work the best for you and your individual situation, so we tailor your treatment to your needs. Every treatment program includes an assessment, professional interventions, therapy, education, group sessions, and up to seven days a week of outpatient care.

For our outpatient clients, we host evidence-based support groups like SMART Recovery or the more traditional 12-Step program. You will also attend scheduled therapy sessions. Our alumni network has reunions and outings that will help you remain positively reinforced and supported, long after completing treatment.

Some of the outpatient plans we have at Resurgence are:

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): this is a day program, where you will spend up to six hours per day, five to seven days a week, in treatment. This is an intermediary step between residential rehab and outpatient rehab, and is best for people who are highly motivated to attend groups and therapy, and are ready to use their new recovery skills. It gives a good balance between clinical care and personal responsibility, using coping skills to get through real-life challenges with continued support from our staff.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): The IOP offers the flexibility to keep a normal daily routine, while you work on sobriety through group and individual therapy. This program creates opportunities for positive friendships with other people in recovery, creating a healthy support system that will help provide alternatives when you are presented with challenges or temptations. There is also a virtual version of the IOP at some Resurgence locations, where therapy is conducted online.

Aftercare: We can customize an aftercare program to fit your individual circumstances for as long as you want to remain with us. Recovery is a very individual process, and we want you to feel supported and confident in your skills and ability to succeed out in the world. Through Resurgence, our affiliated sober living homes, and our expansive alumni group, there is always support available.
